Dennis Wood
Dennis Wood brings over two decades of grappling expertise to Gracie Barra West LA. As a Brown Belt with extensive experience in Wrestling under All-American Blair Green, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, and Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Dennis has established himself as a formidable competitor and dedicated coach.
He is a two-time JJWL World League Brown Belt Gold Medalist, JJWL Open Gold Medalist, IBJJF Brown Belt Gold medalist and currently holds the distinction of being the number one ranked Brown Belt in the Jiu-Jitsu World League.
Dennis Wood started his martial arts training with Kempo in 1988. Four years later he began studying Bak Fu Pai under Sifu Tom Rizzo and Grandmaster Doo Wai. He has since been a closed-door disciple of the Grandmaster. Dennis holds the title of Si Gung, 6th degree level blackbelt in Bak Fu Pai. Dennis is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom where he served his time as a combat engineer. He is currently the chief Kung Fu instructor, lead Jiu Jitsu instructor head coach of Team White Tiger MMA.
